It’s February. Have you lost sight of your New Year’s Resolution? If you did, then same.

I too lost sight of my New Year’s Resolution. I procrastinate in my Science Project and edited the video 24 before the deadline, I did not sleep on time. By the time you’re reading this article, I posted this 24 after this was written. See? You’re not alone.

If you’ve set your goals for the new year and lost sight, don’t fret. Here’s what I’m doing and I’m going to share them to you. It’s a rather small list, seven to be particular, but I hope that this will still help you.

If you want to read the section you are looking for, here’s the Table of Contents.

· #1: Start with your sleep schedule.
· #2: Procrastinating? Use the Eisenhower Matrix.
· #3: Set Sunday as a rest day.
· #4: Read a book that will keep you at peace of mind.
· #5: Use the time-blocking method efficiently. Include breaks.
· #6: Make realistic goals and use the S.M.A.R.T. method.
· #7: Use an app that will remind you of things to do.

#1: Start with your sleep schedule.

Fixing your sleep schedule is one of the most important steps in reviving your goals. Sleep is essential for your physical and mental health, and it is essential for your body and mind to rest and recover. Without enough sleep, you may suffer from lack of energy, stress, and difficulty concentrating. But with enough sleep, you will feel more energized, productive, and have improved mental clarity. Studies have even shown that regular, quality sleep can boost your mood, improve your memory, and enhance your overall performance. So, make sure to schedule a regular bedtime each night and create a consistent routine that you stick to. Adequate sleep is a key factor in achieving success and reaching your goals, so make sure to prioritize it in your lifestyle.

My sleep schedule is from 21:00 to 05:00, but as I mentioned, I often stayed up past 21:00, until 23:00. I don’t recommend this. Set your sleep time on your phone to get the most out of your sleep. For example, if you have an iPhone, you can use the Sleep Focus feature. It allows you to set a bedtime and choose from a range of focus times, such as 45 minutes, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes. I personally set mine to 30 minutes to help my eyes adjust to the dark. Sleep Focus activates once you start sleeping and runs for the duration you set.

#2: Procrastinating? Use the Eisenhower Matrix.

Here’s how to use the Eisenhower Matrix in a nutshell:

1st Quadrant (Urgent, Important): These are proactive tasks that need to be done first.

2nd Quadrant (Not Urgent, Important): These tasks must be done before they become urgent.

3rd Quadrant (Urgent, Not Important): These tasks can be delegated to someone else.

4th Quadrant (Not Urgent, Not Important): These tasks should be eliminated from your task list if possible.

The Eisenhower Matrix is a tool designed to help you prioritize tasks and make decisions. It categorizes tasks into four distinct quadrants based on the importance of the task and the urgency of the task. This tool can be used to prioritize tasks, identify tasks that are not important, and delegate tasks.

The first quadrant, which is “Urgent and Important,” includes tasks that need to be done immediately and should be handled first. These tasks are typically related to deadlines and should be completed as soon as possible.

The second quadrant, which is “Not Urgent but Important,” includes tasks that should be done before they become urgent. These tasks take more time to complete and require more planning and effort.

The third quadrant, which is “Urgent but Not Important,” includes tasks that can be delegated to someone else. These tasks can be done by someone else, and they should not take up too much of your time.

The fourth quadrant, which is “Not Urgent and Not Important,” includes tasks that are not important and should not be done at all. These tasks should be eliminated from your task list if possible.

Using the Eisenhower Matrix can help you become more organized, efficient, and productive. It can help you prioritize tasks and make decisions quickly and effectively.

#3: Set Sunday as a rest day.

Set Sunday as a day of rest and reflection. On this day, take the time to think about what you have accomplished and what you still need to do. Ask yourself questions such as: What have I achieved in the past week? What still needs to be done? What can I do to improve the next week?

This can help you stay focused on your goals and ensure that you are making progress. Additionally, take some time to relax and enjoy some leisure activities such as reading a book, watching a movie, or doing some yoga. This can help you to stay motivated and energized as you work towards achieving your goals.

#4: Read a book that will keep you at peace of mind.

Reading is a great way to help keep your mind calm and focused. Pick up a book that can help you stay motivated and inspired. It could be a book about goal-setting, a self-help book, or even a novel. Make sure to set aside some time each day to read and focus on your book. It could be 15 minutes in the morning before you start your day, or 30 minutes before bed. Reading can help to clear your mind and keep your thoughts focused on the task at hand. Additionally, it can help to keep you motivated and inspired as you work towards your goals.

#5: Use the time-blocking method efficiently. Include breaks.

The time-blocking method is a great way to make sure you’re making the most of your time each day. Make a plan for your day and block out specific times for tasks. Set aside time for work, breaks, and leisure activities. Make sure to include a break in between tasks to give yourself time to rest and recharge. This will help to ensure that you are getting the most out of your day and that you are staying productive and focused. Additionally, make sure to stick to your schedule and follow through with your plan. This will help you stay on track and ensure that you are making progress towards your goals.

#6: Make realistic goals and use the S.M.A.R.T. method.

The S.M.A.R.T. method is a great way to make sure that your goals are realistic and achievable. S.M.A.R.T. stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. When setting goals, make sure that they are specific and clear, that they can be measured and tracked, that they are realistic and attainable, that they are relevant to your long-term goals, and that they have a set timeline. This will help to ensure that your goals are achievable and that you are making progress towards them. Additionally, make sure to break your goals down into smaller, more manageable tasks. This will make it easier to track your progress and stay motivated.

#7: Use an app that will remind you of things to do.

To help stay on track with your goals, consider using an app that will remind you of tasks. For example, you could use an app such as Todoist, which allows you to create tasks and set reminders for yourself. You can also categorize tasks into lists and prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency. Additionally, the app syncs with a calendar so that you can see your upcoming tasks and deadlines at a glance. This can help you stay organized and on track with your goals.

Notion is a great tool for organizing your life and staying on top of your goals. With Notion, you can create workspaces to organize your tasks, notes, and projects. You can also set reminders, create to-do lists, and store important documents. Plus, Notion syncs across multiple devices, so you can access and update your tasks on the go. With Notion, you can stay organized and motivated, so you can keep working towards your goals.
